【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시는 수성대, 대구디지털혁신진흥원(DIP)과 지역의 빅데이터 생태계 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 14일 밝혔다.

이번 협약에 참여한 수성대학교는 ‘산업 맞춤형 실무 중심’의 전문인력 양성을 목표로 지역 인재를 집중 양성 중이다.

대구시는 이번 협약을 통해 대구시의 빅데이터 사업에 대학의 인재양성 기능과 빅데이터 전문기관의 분석 및 활용 역량을 결집해 공공데이터 활용 창업경진대회 활성화, 지역의 빅데이터 연구 및 사업 공동 수행, 기관 보유데이터 공유 등 지역의 빅데이터 생태계 활성화를 위해 상호협력 관계를 강화해 나갈 예정이다.

 수성대학교는 창업경진대회와 캡스톤 디자인 수업을 연계하고, 학생들이 수업을 통해 과제를 발굴하여 대회에 참가하면 학점을 인정해 준다. 

또 대회를 주관하는 대구디지털혁신진흥원은 수성대학교 학생들에게 찾아가는 맞춤형 데이터 활용 및 분석 교육 프로그램을 제공하고 학생들의 아이디어를 더 발전시킬 멘토링 등의 역할을 담당한다.

각 기관은 빅데이터 관련 연구와 사업에 함께 참여하고, 세미나․토론회 등의 공동 개최를 통해 빅데이터 네트워크 형성 등 지역의 빅데이터 생태계 활성화에 협력할 예정이다.

대구시는 매년 지역의 공공데이터 활용 창업경진대회를 주최하고 있으며, 대회는 학생부(아이디어 기획)와 기업부(제품 및 서비스)로 나누어 운영된다. 올해 참가 모집은 대구디지털혁신진흥원에서 공고할 예정이며 자세한 내용은 오는 27일부터 홈페이지를 통해 확인 가능하다.
