수성대학교(총장 김선순)는 2022학년도 수시 1차 신입생 모집 원서접수를 마감 결과 1,086명(정원내) 모집에 4,204명이 지원, 지난해와 같은 3.9대1의 경쟁률을 보였다고 5일 밝혔다.

이번 수시모집에서 간호학과는 114명 모집에 1,085명이 지원해 9.5대1을 기록했고, 치위생과 10.8대1, 방사선과 8.2대1 보이는 등 간호보건계열 학과들의 경쟁률은 전년도보다 소폭 높아진 것으로 나타났다.

이밖에 뷰티스타일리스과와 피부건강관리과, 애완동물관리과 등 전통적인 강세를 보인 학과들도 지난해와 비슷한 지원율을 보여 학령인구 감소에 따른 당초 우려와 달리 예년 수준의 경쟁률을 기록했다.

수성대 관계자는 “지난해와 같은 경쟁률을 보였지만 학령인구가 급격히 줄고 있다는 것은 실감할 수 있었다”고 밝히며 “수시2차 및 정시 모집을 대비해 온/오프라인 입시설명회를 준비하는 등 입시활동을 더욱 다양화 하겠다”고 전했다.

아울러 수성대는 수시 면접에서 수험생들과 소통하고 공감할 수 있는 학과 체험활동도 강화할 계획이다.
