【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진사이버대학교(총장 조방제)가 15일, 방과후‧돌봄교실 운영을 위해 대구남부교육지원청과 MOU를 체결했다고 밝혔다.

지난 14일 남부교육지원청 대회의실에서는 김동관 남부교육지원청 교육장, 박상용 영진사이버대 기획처장 등 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 방과 후‧돌봄교실 운영에 대한 협약식이 진행되었다.

해당 사업은 교육부 국가시책사업 방과 후 프로그램 확대 지원 사업의 일환으로 대구 교육지원청에서 운영하는 공모사업이다.

영진사이버대는 지난해 대구 남부, 달성, 동부 등 3개 교육청 관할 초등학교뿐만 아니라 지역아동센터에서도 놀이상담프로그램을 운영해 참여 학생들로부터 높은 호응을 얻었다.

아울러 올해는 서부교육지원청 ‘초등 전일제학교 방과후 프로그램 운영’ 사업도 맡게 되면서 대구의 4개 교육지원청 모두에서 방과후‧돌봄교실 운영대학으로 선정되었다.

영진전문대는 해당사업에 관하여 강사 전문성, 프로그램 운영 적합성 및 효과성 등 우수한 평가를 받았으며 올해는 사업 대상을 초등돌봄 뿐만 아니라 방과 후 프로그램까지 확대, 운영해 많은 학생이 대학에서 개발한 놀이상담 프로그램을 경험할 수 있도록 할 예정이다.

영진사이버대에서 운영할 프로그램은 ‘꿈 찾기 푸드놀이터’, ‘엄마, 아빠 어릴 적 놀던 우리 놀이’, ‘슬기로운 학교생활’, ‘놀이로 배우는 생활습관’, ‘줄넘기 실력과 함께 몸도 마음도 쑥쑥’ 등 5개 프로그램이다.

프로그램 진행은 상담심리학과 졸업생으로 구성된 영진사이버대 부설연구소 상담심리사양성센터 연구원들이 맡게 되며, 상담심리학과 재학생들은 Co-리더 자격으로 프로그램에 참여한다.

프로그램을 총괄 기획한 변외진 상담심리사양성센터장(상담심리학과장)은 “우리 대학의 우수한 상담인력 자원과 전문성에 대한 학교 현장의 만족도가 큰 만큼 참여 학생들의 사회성 향상 및 전인적 발달을 위해 다양한 놀이상담프로그램 개발과 운영에 최선의 노력을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
