10일 오전, 영진전문대 도서관 시청각실에서 최재영 총장을 비롯한 대학 보직교수와 졸업자 대표, 수상자 대표 등이 참석한 가운데 제45회 학위수여식이 열렸다.
이번 학위수여식에서는 전문학사 2,472명, 학사 347명 등 총 2,819명이 학위를 취득했다.
전 학기 4.5점의 성적으로 졸업생 전체 수석을 차지한 박태현(ICT반도체전자계열) 졸업생은 “교수님의 강의를 놓치지 않기 위해 휴대폰에 녹음 후 반복해 들으며 부족한 것을 이해하려고 노력했는데 결실을 얻게 되어 기쁘다”는 졸업 소감을 전했다.
최재영 총장은 회고사에서 “젊음의 열정으로 배우고 익힌 전문지식과 경험을 바탕으로 산업현장에서 여러분들의 꿈과 이상을 널리 펼치는 힘찬 출발”을 당부하고 “졸업생 여러분 앞에 펼쳐진 무한한 가능성과 기회를 온전히 여러분의 것으로 만들어 우리 사회에서 꼭 필요한 인재로 성장해 나가길 뜨거운 마음으로 응원한다.”며 격려했다.
