【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교(총장 최재영)가 코로나 엔데믹을 맞아 재학생들을 해외 기업에 파견하며 해외취업에 재시동을 걸고 있다고 18일 밝혔다.

영진전문대 반도체전자계열은 해외취업반인 ‘일본전자반도체반’을 일본 도쿄에 파견하며 일본 취업을 위한 준비를 약 1개월 간 이어가고 있다.

이번 해외연수 프로그램은 ‘K-MOVE 스쿨 전자회로설계 전문가양성과정’ 으로 연수에는 ‘일본전자반도체반’ 졸업예정인 2학년생 10명 전원이 참가했다.

지난 8일 출국한 학생들은 오는 2월 1일까지 일본 기업 비즈니스 매너를 비롯해 현지 강사가 진행하는 일본어 비즈니스 회화, 경어 표현 등을 배우고 오다이바 미래과학관과 기업 홍보관인 긴자 캐논 디지털하우스, 긴자 플레이스 소니, 닛산 크로싱 등을 방문해 일본 기업 문화를 접한다.

연수생 10명 중 8명은 이미 일본 현지 기업에 합격해 채용이 내정된 상태로 이들은 졸업 후 오는 4~5월 입사할 회사를 이번 연수 기간에 방문해 회사 관계자들로부터 입사 전 준비사항을 듣고 회사를 직접 둘러보는 기회도 갖는다. 

취업을 준비 중인 학생들은 면접에 대비하면서 현지 기업이 원하는 인재상을 반영한 스펙을 쌓게된다.

취업이 내정된 고강훈 학생은 “대학에 입학하고 전공을 고민하던 중 해외취업에 관심을 두게 돼 일본취업반에서 열심히 준비했고 일본 기업에 합격했다. 그동안 강의실에서 배운 일본어를 이번 연수서 일본 현지인들을 만나 직접 활용해보고 또 합격한 회사를 직접 찾아가 관계자들을 만나는 등 일본 취업 시 적응할 내용들을 미리 확인하고 배울 기회가 돼 기쁘다” 했다.

나승욱 지도교수(반도체전자계열)는 “도쿄 현지 연수를 통해 일본 취업을 준비한 학생들이 많이 배울 기회를 가질 수 있고, 다양한 경험을 통해 국제적 감각을 가진 훌륭한 엔지니어로 성장해 주기를 바란다”고 말했다.

Eight out of 10 trainees have already passed the test and been assigned to a local Japanese company. Student Ko Kang-hoon, who was selected for employment, said, “After entering college and contemplating my major, I became interested in working abroad, so I prepared hard in the Japanese employment class and was accepted by a Japanese company. “I am happy to have the opportunity to use the Japanese I have learned in the classroom by meeting Japanese locals in this training, and to check and learn in advance what I will need to adapt to when getting a job in Japan by visiting the company I was accepted for in person and meeting the officials.”

Advisor Seungwook Na (Semiconductor Electronics Department) said, “I hope that students preparing for employment in Japan will have the opportunity to learn a lot through local training in Tokyo, and that they will grow into excellent engineers with an international sense through various experiences.”
