【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교가 사업설명회를 개최하며 본격적인 중소기업 기술사관 육성사업의 본격 시동을 걸었다.
중소벤처기업부 중소기업 기술사관 주관대학으로 선정된 영진전문대학교 컴퓨터정보계열은 앞서 반도체소프트웨어 기술사관 사업단을 발족한데 이어 대구제일여자상고를 찾아 사업설명회를 개최했다고 24일 밝혔다.
이날 설명회는 130여 명 학생들이 참석한 가운데 사업에 대한 전반적인 소개, 사업 참여혜택과 향후 일정 안내와 질의응답이 진행되었으며 이번 사업 협약 업체 대표의 특강이 실시되었다.
사업단은 이번 이번 설명회를 시작으로 사업에 참여할 고교 2~3학년생을 선발한 후 방과 후 특별과정으로 특강, 자격증 취득 지원, 산업체 견학 연수 등을 실시할 예정이다.
또한 선발된 학생들이 영진전문대 컴퓨터정보계열에 입학해 1학년 공통과정을 이수한 후 2~3학년과정의 ‘시스템 관리자 트랙’, ‘시스템 SW개발자 트랙’, ‘IT융합콘텐츠트랙’등 3가지 분야에서 역량을 강화할 수 있도록 하고 취업도 연계할 계획이며 사업 참여 학생은 사업단에서 운영하는 전 과정을 전액 지원받는다.
연계 대학인 영진전문대 입학 시 훈련지원금 100만원, 연계 대학 진학 후 산업기사자격증 취득 장려금 100만원, 기술사관 참여 학생 장려금 50만원, 전문대학 희망사다리 장학금(등록금전액+학기당 200만원) 우선 선발의 혜택이 주어진다.
아울러 영진전문대는 오는 5월 4일 해당 사업에 참여 중인 경북공고를 대상으로 사업설명회를 개최할 예정으로 인재양성을 위한 활동에 박차를 가할 예정이다.
