【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=영진전문대학교(총장 최재영) 보건의료행정과가 1주기 보건의료정보관리교육 평가·인증에서 가장 높은 등급인 인증 3년+예비인증 2년을 획득했다고 12일 밝혔다.
대학에 따르면 지난 11일 영진전문대는 2021년 신규학과로 개설된 보건의료행정과가 최근 한국보건의료정보관리교육평가원에서 실시한 2022년 1주기 보건의료정보관리교육 평가·인증에서 판정 유형 중 가장 높은 등급인 인증 3년+예비인증 2년을 획득했다는 소식을 전했다.
보건의료정보관리교육 평가·인증은 한국보건의료정보관리교육평가원에서 요구하는 보건의료정보관리사(구, 의무기록사) 인재상에 맞춰, 시대와 사회가 요구하는 역량을 갖춘 졸업생을 배출하기 위한 교육프로그램을 갖췄는지를 객관적으로 평가하고, 학습성과를 공식적으로 인증해주는 제도다.
해당 제도를 통해 인증을 받은 대학은 「의료기사 등에 관한 법률」 제4조 제1항 제1호에 근거해 한국보건의료인국가시험원에서 실시하는 보건의료정보관리사(구, 의무기록사) 국가고시에 응시할 수 있는 자격이 주어진다.
보건의료행정과는 2021년 2년제로 개설된 후 2022년 신규대학 인증평가를 위한 3년제로 직제를 변경하였으며 이번 인증 평가에서 5영역(I. 프로그램의 운영체계, II. 프로그램 구성 체계와 운영, III. 학생, IV. 교수, V. 교육환경) 52개 요소에서 우수한 점수로 교육프로그램 인증을 받았다.
이영옥 보건의료행정과 학과장은 “우리 학과는 이번 평가인증으로 보건의료정보관리사(의무기록사) 국가고시를 응시할 수 있게 됐다. 신생 학과로 출범했지만 대학 인지도를 바탕으로 학과의 교육 목적인 첨단보건의료 산업 시대를 선도할 실무 융합형 보건의료정보관리 전문 인재를 양성하는데 매진하고 있다”고 말했다.
