지난 15일 김천대 그레이스홀에서 열린 학위수여식에서는 석사 17명, 학사 580명, 총 597명이 학위를 수여받았다.

이날 행사에는 윤옥현 총장를 비롯하여 이순기 김천대학교 총동문회 회장, 서충근 최고경영자과정 총동문회 수석부회장, 문숙이 여성아카데미 총동문회 회장, 한은희 여성아카데미 총동문회 사무국장, 서유철 학교법인 김천대학교 이사, 박성만 학교법인 김천대학교 이사, 김숙현 IBK 기업은행 지점장 등 각계 각층 인사들과 학부모 및 졸업생 700여 명이 자리를 함께 했다.

윤옥현 총장은 회고사에서 “코로나19로 온라인 비대면 수업으로 많은 어려움과 여건 속에서도 굽히지 않고 학업에 열중해서 오늘의 뜻 깊은 졸업을 맞이하게 되어 그 감회가 남다르다.”면서 “어려움 속에서 성취한 만큼 앞으로 사회와 각 분야에서 활동하게 될 졸업생들은 그 어떤 어려움도 헤쳐 나가게 될 것이다.” 라며 졸업을 축하했다.
