지난 15일 김천시 진로적성체험지원센터(센터장 류재기)에서 운남중 재학생 203명을 대상으로 항공호텔조리학부, 치위생학과, 사회복지전공, 임상병리학과 전공체험 활동이 진행되었다.

이번 프로그램을 통해 항공호텔조리학부에서는 바리스타 및 바텐더실습, 치위생학과는 구강위생의 중요성, 사회복지전공은 각종 장애인복지현황 및 수화배우기, 임상병리학과에서는 보건직 직종의 체험이 이루어 졌다.

운남중 1학년 학생은 “교실에서 수업만 듣다가 이곳에서 다양한 전공체험을 해서 즐거웠다. 다음에도 다른 전공체험을 더 했으면 좋겠다.”고 말했다.

행사를 주관한 김천시 진로적성체험지원센터 류재기 센터장은 “지역의 꿈나무들이 대학을 방문하여 자신의 미래를 설계할 수 있는 좋은 밑바탕이 되길 바란다.”면서 “지역의 많은 학생들이 참여하여 김천을 성장시키는 원동력이 되었으면 좋겠다.”는 기대를 전했다.
