【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=김천대학교(총장 윤옥현) 유아교육과가 재학생들의 성인지 인식 향상을 위한 특강을 실시했다.

지난달 30일 이자리(소담힐링연구소 소장)과 함께 진행한 특강은 예비 유아교사들이 알아야하는 디지털 성범죄와 성희롱·성폭력 예방, 가정·학교·사회 속에서 발견할 수 있는 성인지 감수성, 양성평등 의식 함양교육에 대한 내용으로 진행되었다.

특강에 참여한 4학년 임지영 학생은 “평소 성에 대한 인식에 대해 잘 알고 있다고 생각을 했는데, 잘못 인지하고 있었던 부분이 있다는 사실을 알게되었다. 이번 특강을 통해 성인지에 대해 더욱 자세히 알 수 있었고, 교사로서 성을 제대로 알고 유아에게 올바른 교육을 통해 올바른 성인지를 형성시켜줄 수 있도록 더욱 노력해야겠다고 다짐했다.”고 말했다.

유아교육과 장기덕 학과장은 “김천대 유아교육과는 매년 전학년을 대상으로 성인지 인식 특강을 실시하고 있다.”면서 “예비 유치원 교사들에게 성인지에 대한 명확한 개념을 확립시켜 유치원 교육현장에서 잘못된 사례가 발생하지 않고 올바르게 대처할 수 있도록 꾸준히 교육을 이어갈 것”이라고 전했다.
