【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=김천대학교(총장 윤옥현)  방사선원자력기술연구소팀의 윤상민 학생이 2022년 (사)대한방사선사협회 경상북도회 종합학술대회에서 우수논문상을 수상했다.

지난 28일 학술대회에서 우수논문상을 수상한 윤상민 학생의 발표 논문은 “핵의학 PET/CT 영상에서 췌장암과 췌장염 감별을 위한 최적의 delay scan time 연구” 제목으로 통계적 분석 및 MATLAB 활용을 통한 수학적 모델을 제시하여 핵의학 영상에서 췌장암 조기 발견을 위한 과학적 접근 방법을 제시했다.

췌장암은 발병률은 낮지만 사망률이 높은 암으로 조기 발견만이 생존률을 높이는 유일한 방법이기 때문에 이번 연구는 더욱 눈길을 끈다.

우수 논문상을 수상한 윤상민 학생은 “핵의학 영상 연구 및 다양한 통계 프로그램 활용을 

통해 전공지식을 함양할 수 있는 기회가 되어서 매우 기쁘다.“면서 ”방학 중에도 전폭적으로 지도해주신 장보석 교수님께 감사하다”는 소감을 밝혔다. 

방사선학과 장보석 지도교수는 “4차 산업혁명을 맞이하여 급변하는 시대에 학생들이 잘 준비되어 대응할 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램을 활용하여 교육과 연구에 지원을 아끼지 않을 것”이라고 전했다.

Pancreatic cancer is a cancer with a low incidence but high mortality rate, and early detection is the only way to increase the survival rate, so this study is even more interesting.

Student Sang-min Yoon, who received the Best Paper Award, said, “I am interested in nuclear medicine imaging research and the use of various statistical programs. I am very happy to have had an opportunity to develop my major knowledge through this program.” He said, “I am grateful to Professor Jang Bo-seok for giving me full guidance even during vacation.”
