김천대학교(총장 윤옥현)는 지난 3일, 교수들을 대상으로 ‘AI·에듀테크를 활용한 혁신 교수법 및 연구방법 교육’을 실시하고, 변화하는 교육환경에 대응하기 위한 실천적 역량 강화에 나섰다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 생성형 AI 도구를 활용한 수업 전략부터 디지털 콘텐츠 제작, 프로젝트 기반 학습(PBL) 설계, 데이터 기반 연구 분석까지 실무에 바로 적용 가능한 실습 중심의 프로그램으로 구성됐다.

특히 ChatGPT 등 최신 생성형 AI를 수업과 연구에 접목하는 방법, 교수자용 디지털 도구 활용 전략 등 교수들이 현장에서 가장 필요로 하는 실용적인 내용들이 다뤄져 참석자들의 높은 만족도를 이끌어냈다.

윤옥현 총장은 개회사를 통해 “AI는 더 이상 선택이 아닌 교육의 핵심 도구이며, 변화에 앞장서는 교수자의 역할이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “김천대학교는 앞으로도 디지털 기반 교수법 도입을 적극 지원해 교육 혁신을 선도해 나가겠다”고 강조했다.

김천대는 이번 교육을 시작으로 정기적인 교수 역량 강화 프로그램을 확대하고, 교육 전반에 AI와 에듀테크 기반의 혁신을 본격적으로 적용해 나갈 계획이다.

Kimcheon University has begun full-scale innovation in teaching using artificial intelligence and digital technology.

On July 3, Kimcheon University (President Ok-Hyun Yoon) announced that it will conduct ‘Innovative Teaching and Research Methods Using AI and EdTech’ for professors and strengthen practical capabilities to respond to the changing educational environment.

This training consists of a practical program that can be applied directly to practice, from teaching strategies using generative AI tools to digital content creation, project-based learning (PBL) design, and data-based research analysis.

In particular, practical contents that professors need most in the field, such as methods for incorporating the latest generative AI such as ChatGPT into teaching and research, and strategies for utilizing digital tools for instructors, were covered, leading to high satisfaction from attendees.

In her opening remarks, President Ok-Hyun Yoon emphasized, “AI is no longer an option, but a core tool for education, and the role of professors who lead the change is more important than anything else,” and “Kimcheon University will continue to actively support the introduction of digital-based teaching methods and lead educational innovation.”

Starting with this training, Gimcheon University plans to expand its regular teaching capacity enhancement program and fully apply AI and edutech-based innovations across the entire education system.
