【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=구미대학교(총장 정창주)가 제30회 학위수여식을 개최했다고 3일 밝혔다.
지난 2일 교내 성실관 시청각실에서 열린 학위수여식은 코로나 확산 예방을 위해 정창주 총장과 주요 내빈, 졸업생 대표와 수상자 등 약 50여 명이 참석한 가운데 약식으로 진행되었다.
구미대는 참석하지 못한 졸업생과 학부모를 위해 이날 학위수여식을 온라인으로 생중계했다. 또한 영상으로 편집해 대학 홈페이지에도 게시할 예정이다.
이날 학위 수여를 받은 졸업생은 모두 1946명으로 전문학사 1475명, 학사 471명이다. 전년 대비 전문학사는 8명이 줄고 학사는 10명이 늘었다.
정창주 총장은 “코로나와 급변하는 시대가 공존하는 위기 속에서도 새로운 기회를 찾아가는 도전정신과 열정이 필요하다”고 강조하면서 “성실과 책임을 다하는 사회인이자 미래를 열어가는 전문 기술인으로서 사회의 발전에 기여하는 선도적 인재로 성장해주길 바란다.”고 당부를 전했다.
