구미대 본관 3층 회의실에서 열린 협약식은 신혜경 구미대 대외협력처장과 홍진기 현대에스라이프 사장과 손기수 구미대 학생복지처장, 변호성 호텔인터불고엑스코 총지배인, 김동주 구미라뷰웨딩컨벤션 센터장 등 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 진행되었다.
양 기관은 협약을 통해 올해부터 매년 구미대 학생 4명 이상을 현대에스라이프의 자회사인 인터불고엑스코호텔과 구미라뷰웨딩컨벤션에 취업을 지원하는 것과 구미대 교직원 및 학생(졸업생 포함)이 호텔 객실 및 웨딩홀 이용시 30% 할인 혜택을 제공하고 기타 부가사항은 협의하기로 약속했다.
홍진기 현대에스라이프 사장은 “우수한 전문인력 배출하는 구미대와 산학협력을 맺게 되어 기쁘다”며 “향후 협력 분야를 폭넓게 확대해 나가길 기대한다.”고 말했다.
