【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈) 문화콘텐츠센터(센터장 이승우)가 ‘2023 지역대학 연계 초등 돌봄·방과 후 프로그램’ 운영을 위해 대구지역 4개 교육지원청과 협약을 체결했다.

지난 14일, 대구한의대는 대구 남부교육지원청 대회의실에서 ‘2023 지역대학 연계 초등 돌봄·방과 후 프로그램’ 운영에 대한 협약식을 개최했다.

27일, 대학에 따르면 해당 사업은 교육부 국가시책사업 방과 후 프로그램 확대 지원 사업의 일환으로 대학의 우수한 인적·물적 자원을 활용하여 방과 후 돌봄 교실 참여학생의 흥미를 유발하고, 다양한 놀이와 유익한 체험 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련되었다. 

영진전문대는 해당사업에 관하여 강사 전문성, 프로그램 운영 적합성 및 효과성 등 우수한 평가를 받았으며 올해는 사업 대상을 초등돌봄 뿐만 아니라 방과 후 프로그램까지 확대, 운영해 많은 학생이 대학에서 개발한 놀이상담 프로그램을 경험할 수 있도록 할 예정이다.

대구한의대학교는 강사의 전문성, 프로그램의 뛰어난 적합성, 체계적인 사업수행 및 학생 관리 능력 등을 인정받아 사업의 운영대학으로 선정되었다.

이에 따라 오는 4월부터 내년 2월까지 남구, 달서구 소재 희망 초등학교를 대상으로 대학의 특성화된 프로그램을 운영할 예정이다.

사업의 책임자인 이승우 교수는 “2023 지역대학 연계 초등 방과 후 돌봄 프로그램 운영은 대학의 역량으로 지역에 이바지할 수 있는 기회”라면서 “우리 대학의 강점인 ‘건강’과 ‘테라피’의 가치를 확산하는 한편 지역이 요구하는 시대변화를 반영한 미래형 신수요 프로그램으로 지역과 시대의 요구에 적극적으로 부합하겠다.”라는 포부를 밝혔다.
