【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈) 평생교육원은 21일 전국 최대 규모의 민간정원인 ㈜동재가산수피아(대표 황종기)와 파크골프 산업 발전 및 전문 인력 양성을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

협약식은 대구한의대 삼성캠퍼스 평생교육원에서 열렸으며, 대학 측에서는 권기찬 평생교육원장, 윤우기 실장, 이희수 교수가 참석했다. 가산수피아에서는 황종기 대표와 유윤호 상무이사가 자리해 상호 협력 의지를 다졌다.

양 기관은 이번 협약을 통해 ▲파크골프 교육 진흥 및 활성화 ▲평생교육사업 효율적 운영 ▲보유 시설·인프라 공동 활용 ▲기타 상호 발전을 위한 협력 등을 추진할 계획이다.

대구한의대 평생교육원은 그동안 파크골프 지도자 과정을 운영하며 300여 명의 전문 인력을 배출해 왔다. 특히 7주 과정으로 진행되는 파크골프지도자 1급 과정은 이론·규칙·에티켓·안전 수칙 교육과 더불어 현장 실습을 통해 실력 배양, 자신감 회복, 필드 적응력을 강화하고 있다. 이를 통해 수강생들은 건강 증진과 안전한 파크골프 활동을 이어가고 있다.

이번 협약으로 교육생들은 가산수피아 파크골프장을 실습 공간으로 활용하게 된다. 총 36홀 규모로 조성 중인 가산수피아 파크골프장은 현재 18홀이 개장되어 있으며, 국내에서 유일하게 샤워장과 클럽하우스를 갖춘 시설이다. 울창한 숲속 환경에서 힐링·체험·교육이 동시에 가능한 공간으로, 교육생들은 실제 경기 운영, 코스 매니지먼트, 심판 실습까지 체계적으로 경험할 수 있을 전망이다.

권기찬 평생교육원장은 “이번 협약을 통해 파크골프 교육의 질을 더욱 높이고 전문 지도자 양성에 박차를 가하겠다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회 건강 증진과 생활체육 활성화에 기여할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 운영해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Haany University Lifelong Education Center and Gasan Supias Sign MOU to Train Park Golf Professionals

Daegu Haany University (President Byun Chang-hoon) Lifelong Education Center announced on the 21st that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dongjae Gasan Supias Co., Ltd. (CEO Hwang Jong-gi), the largest private park in Korea, to develop the park golf industry and train professional personnel.

At Gasan Supias, CEO Hwang Jong-gi and Managing Director Yoo Yoon-ho reaffirmed their commitment to cooperation.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to promote and revitalize park golf education, efficiently operate lifelong education programs, jointly utilize existing facilities and infrastructure, and collaborate on other mutually beneficial initiatives.

Daegu Haany University Lifelong Education Center has been running park golf instructor programs, training approximately 300 professionals. The Level 1 Park Golf Instructor course, a seven-week program, combines theory, rules, etiquette, and safety guidelines with hands-on training to cultivate skills, build confidence, and enhance field adaptability. This approach helps trainees maintain healthy and safe park golf activities.

This agreement will allow trainees to utilize the Gasan Supia Park Golf Course as a training space. Currently under construction with a total of 36 holes, Gasan Supia Park Golf Course has 18 holes open and is the only facility in Korea equipped with shower facilities and a clubhouse. Set amidst a lush forest, this space offers a simultaneous experience of healing, experience, and education. Trainees will gain systematic experience in actual game operations, course management, and refereeing.

Kwon Ki-chan, Director of the Lifelong Education Center, stated, "Through this agreement, we will further enhance the quality of park golf education and accelerate the development of professional instructors. We will continue to operate various programs that contribute to the promotion of community health and the revitalization of recreational sports."
