그러나 현행법 상 장애인의 게임 접근성 개선을 위한 연구개발비에 세제를 지원하는 규정이 마련되지 않아 제도적 지원의 필요성이 대두되고 있다.
이에 강 의원은 장애인의 게임 접근성 강화를 위한 정책적 지원 방안을 마련하기 위해 ‘조세특례제한법’ 일부개정법률안을 대표 발의했다.
강명구 의원은 “이번 개정안을 통해 장애인의 게임 접근성을 실질적으로 개선하고, 보다 포용적인 게임 환경을 조성하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
