이번에 확보한 특별교부세 중 9억 원이 고아읍 항곡리 마을 커뮤니티센터 조성사업을 위해 사용된다.

고아읍 항곡리에 마을 커뮤니티센터가 건립되면 아이들은 전통문화와 시골 마을의 정서를 배우고, 어르신들은 디지털 문화를 접할 수 있는 공간으로 활용될 계획이다.

AI레이더 기반 지능형 교통안전시스템 구축(인동네거리, 구평영무예다음네거리 등 2개소)에 4억 원이 투입된다.

AI레이더 기반 지능형 교통안전시스템 구축사업은 인동네거리와 구평영무예다음네거리에 ‘AI기반 레이더와 카메라 일체형 센서’를 설치하는 사업으로 차량 운전자의 시야확보가 힘든 야간에 보행자의 안전을 확보하고 통행 편의를 증진시킬 것으로 기대된다.

옥성자연휴양림 제1야영장 사면 보강공사사업에는 특별교부세 2억 원이 확보되어 석축의 붕괴를 예방하고, 주민들의 안전을 확보할 수 있게 됐다.  

강명구 의원은 “특교세 확보로 구미시민들의 안전과 정주여건 개선을 위한 지역 사업들을 신속하게 추진할 수 있게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 지역주민의 삶과 밀접한 지역 숙원사업 해결을 위한 예산 확보에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
