대구한의대 미래라이프융합대학의 특성화 고졸재직자 24명이 4년간의 일과 학습 병행 끝에 졸업을 맞이해 학위 수여식이 개최되었다.

지난달 18일 열린 행사는 개회식, 학사보고, 학위증서 및 상장 수여, 축사, 축하공연, 기념 촬영 순으로 진행되었다.

이날 행사에서는 고동주 학생이 대표로 공로상을 수상했고 강명화 학생이 모범상을, 권영숙 학생이 성장상을 대표로 수상하였으며 경북사회복지사협회장상은 김영미 학생이 수상했다. 또한 김재현 학생은 지난 4년간 학업의 공로를 인정받아 총장공로상을 수상했다.

졸업생 대표 평생교육융합학과 이희진 학생은 “입학하던 때가 어제와 같은데 벌써 졸업이라는 사실이 아쉽고 뭉클하다.”면서 “직장생활과 공부를 병행해 나가는 것이 힘든 일이지만 스스로 성장에는 많은 영향을 끼친 것 같다.”라고 소감을 말했다.

김진숙 평생교육융합학부장은 “특성화고졸재직자 전형으로 입학한 성인학습자는 4년간 직장생활을 병행하며 학습하였기에 학위 수여가 더욱 값지고 의미가 크다”고 말했다. 또한, 졸업 후에도 졸업생들의 경력 및 자기계발을 위해 성인학습지원센터를 활용하기를 바란다.”라고 말했다.
