이번 캠페인은 경상북도 경산시청, 한국가스안전공사 대구광역본부, 경산공설시장 상인회 등과 함께 약 20명이 참여해, 전통시장의 가스안전사고 예방과 상인 및 시민들의 안전의식 제고를 위해 마련됐다.

이날 한국가스안전공사와의 합동 점검을 통해 전통시장 내 도시가스 사용시설 47개소를 대상으로 노출배관 관리 상태, 가스누출경보차단장치 작동 여부, 배관 부식 및 누출 여부, 가스기기 사용 상태 등을 중점적으로 점검했다.

대성에너지 김석원 CS본부장은 “전통시장은 이용객이 많고 구조적으로 가스시설 관리에 취약할 수 있어 정기적인 안전점검이 필수적”이라며, “이번 캠페인을 통해 지역사회의 가스 안전 문화가 한층 더 향상되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

이번 점검은 단순한 일회성 활동에 그치지 않고, 지역 공동체와 함께 만드는 안전한 전통시장 조성을 위한 중요한 발걸음으로, 대성에너지는 앞으로도 지속적인 안전 캠페인과 교육을 통해 시민의 생명과 재산 보호에 앞장설 계획이다.

Daesung Energy (CEO Park Moon-hee) announced that it conducted a ‘Traditional Market Safety Campaign and Special Inspection of City Gas Usage Facilities’ at Gyeongsan Public Market located on Jungang-ro, Gyeongsan City on Tuesday, April 22.

This campaign was organized with the participation of approximately 20 people, including Gyeongsan City Hall, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea Gas Safety Corporation Daegu Metropolitan Headquarters, and Gyeongsan Public Market Merchants’ Association, to prevent gas safety accidents at traditional markets and raise safety awareness among merchants and citizens.

Through a joint inspection with Korea Gas Safety Corporation on this day, 47 city gas usage facilities in traditional markets were inspected with a focus on the management status of exposed pipes, operation of gas leak alarm shutoff devices, corrosion and leakage of pipes, and use of gas equipment.

Daesung Energy CS Headquarters Director Kim Seok-won said, “Traditional markets have many customers and are structurally vulnerable to gas facility management, so regular safety inspections are essential,” and added, “We hope that this campaign will further improve the gas safety culture in the local community.” This inspection is not a simple one-time activity, but an important step toward creating a safe traditional market together with the local community.
