이날 모금회에는 홍준표 대구시장, 윤홍식 대성에너지 대표이사, 김수학 대구사회복지공동모금회장 등이 참석했다.
이번 성금은 보호종료 청소년 자립통합 지원사업, 지역 독거노인, 소년소녀 가장, 쪽방주민 등 에너지 취약계층의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 위한 에너지 복지사업에 사용될 예정이다.
윤홍식 대표이사는“지난 3년간 계속된 코로나 상황과 경기침체로 지역의 취약계층이 특이 어려움에 처한 것 같다”며 “향토기업으로서 그동안 시민들의 많은 사랑을 받아온 만큼 어려운 시기 지역민과 함께하는 기업이 되겠다”고 밝혔다.
