【브레이크뉴스 청도】이성현 기자=김하수 청도군수가 맛과 향이 뛰어난 명품청도딸기의 본격적인 출하를 앞두고 13일 화양읍 고평리 소재 하이베드 딸기 재배농가를 방문해 격려했다.

청도군에 따르면 군은 현재 190여 농가에서 95ha의 딸기를 재배하고 있으며, 연간 150억원이상 매출액을 올리고 있다.

특히, 청도딸기는 항산화 물질인 안토시아닌, 펙틴 등의 다양한 항산화 성분이 풍부하여 노화방지와 항암작용은 물론 혈관질환예방, 피로회복과 피부미용에 좋은 것으로 알려져 있다.

김하수 청도군수는 “12월 15일부터 청도농협공판장에서 청도딸기 현지 첫 공판을 실시함에 따라 농민이 제 값을 받을 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”며 “딸기를 이용한 가공산업, 딸기 수확 체험 등을 융합하여 농업의 6차산업을 이끄는 혁신하는 친환경 농업도시 청도군이 되도록 아낌없는 지원을 하겠다.”고 말했다.

한편 하이베드는 고설재배라고도 불리며, 지면보다 높은 곳에 인공 베드를 설치함으로써 과실의 공중착과 및 부패 걱정을 덜고, 각종 병해충 방제에도 유리하다.
