영천시에 따르면 주택을 생애 최초로 구입하는 경우, 소득에 상관없이 12억 이하 주택 취득세를 200만원 한도 내에서 전액 면제하며 2022년 6월 21일 이후 생애 최초로 주택을 취득하는 경우부터 소급 적용되며, 이미 납부한 취득세는 별도 신청 절차를 통해 환급할 예정이다.
또한 인구유입·지역 경제 활성화를 위해 우리시에 창업하거나 사업장을 설치하는 기업에게는 취득세의 100%, 재산세 5년간 100%(이후 3년간 50%)를 감면한다.
아울러 친환경 자동차 보급 및 기술 개발 촉진 등을 위해 하이브리드(혼합형) 차량 구매자에 대한 취득세 면제도 현행 수준으로(40만원 한도) 2년 연장한다.
