【브레이크뉴스 영천】이성현 기자=영천시가 청년 창업가들의 목소리를 직접 듣고 맞춤형 청년정책을 발굴하기 위한 현장 행보를 이어가고 있다. 최기문 영천시장은 지난 20일 관내 청년 창업 기업 4곳을 방문해 현장의 생생한 의견을 청취하고 격려했다.

◆ 농업인 고충에서 출발한 창업… ㈜프리에잇팜테크

첫 방문지는 영천시 완산동에 위치한 ㈜프리에잇팜테크였다. 이 기업은 두더지, 까치 등 유해조수를 퇴치하는 농업 자재를 개발·생산하는 청년기업으로, 주력 제품인 ‘두더제로’는 자연 바람을 이용해 농작물 피해를 방지하는 장치다.

김민중 대표는 “청년 농업인 시절 직접 유해조수 피해를 겪으며 같은 어려움을 겪는 농민들에게 도움이 되고 싶어 창업을 결심했다”고 밝혔다. 프리에잇팜테크는 AI 영상처리 기술을 활용한 감자 선별 시스템 등 농업 현장의 효율성을 높일 신기술 개발에도 박차를 가하고 있다.

◆ 영천 이야기를 담은 디자인 굿즈… 만복기획

두 번째로 방문한 만복기획은 ‘로컬크리에이터’를 꿈꾸며 고향으로 돌아온 정유영 대표가 운영하는 디자인 기업이다. 정 대표는 “문구 디자인이라는 어린 시절 꿈을 이루며 영천의 이야기를 디자인에 담고 있다”며, “향후에는 지역과 소비자, 청년, 기업을 잇는 상생 마켓 플랫폼을 구축해 영천을 활기찬 도시로 만들고 싶다”고 포부를 밝혔다.

◆ 한방유통 기반 건강차 개발… 태산물산

세 번째로 방문한 태산물산은 도동 약초시장 내 사업장을 둔 한방차 전문기업으로, 친환경 원료를 사용한 건강 티백차를 개발·생산하고 있다. 노원준 대표는 “가족의 건강을 생각하며 정성껏 제조하고 있다”며 “앞으로는 카페인 없는 에너지 드링크 개발에도 도전해 가족 건강을 책임지는 기업으로 성장하겠다”고 말했다.

◆ 피부 관리로 지역사회에 기여… 스킨갤러리

마지막 방문지인 스킨갤러리는 중앙동 청년창업 특화거리의 1호점으로 문을 연 피부 관리 전문점이다. 황순현 대표는 “고품질 피부 관리를 제공하는 것은 물론 무료 피부 관리, 세미나, 저소득층 지원 프로그램 등을 통해 지역사회에 기여하고 싶다”고 밝혔다.

◆ 현장 중심 청년정책 지속 추진

최기문 영천시장은 “청년 창업가들의 기술 이면에 담긴 ‘사람을 위하는 마음’이야말로 청년 창업의 가장 큰 원동력”이라며 “앞으로도 현장을 지속적으로 방문해 청년들의 애로사항을 적극 경청하고 시정에 반영하겠다”고 강조했다.

◆ Development of health tea based on herbal medicine distribution… Taesan Mountain

The third visit to Taesan Mountain is a herbal medicine tea company with a business site in Dodong Herbal Medicine Market. It develops and produces health tea bags using eco-friendly ingredients. CEO Noh Won-jun said, “We are manufacturing them with care, thinking of the health of our families,” and added, “In the future, we will challenge ourselves to develop caffeine-free energy drinks and grow into a company that takes responsibility for the health of families.”

◆ Contributing to the local community through skin care… Skin Gallery

The last stop, Skin Gallery, is a skin care specialty store that opened as the first store in the Jungang-dong Youth Entrepreneurship Specialized Street. CEO Hwang Soon-hyun said, “In addition to providing high-quality skin care, we want to contribute to the local community through free skin care, seminars, and low-income support programs.”

◆ Continued promotion of field-centered youth policies

Mayor Choi Ki-moon of Yeongcheon emphasized, “The ‘heart for people’ behind the technology of young entrepreneurs is the greatest driving force behind youth entrepreneurship,” and “We will continue to visit the field to actively listen to the concerns of young people and reflect them in city administration.”
