이번 행사는 엔지니어링 조직개편 후 최초 시행한 제6차 신월성2호기 계획예방정비(’24.1.1.~’24.3.6.)의 성공적인 마무리를 축하하기 위해 마련되었다.

이날 한수원 엔지니어링본부장(김영승)과 월성원자력본부장(김한성)은 계획예방정비기간 동안 수고한 직원들을 격려하고 신월성 2호기 주제어실 등 현장을 점검했다.

한수원은 글로벌 최고 수준의 운영역량 확보와 해외 원전 수출 요건 만족을 위해 안전, 품질, 보안, 환경, 보건 등 각각의 업무뿐 아니라 인적·조직적 요소, 사회적·경제적 요소 모두가 통합 관리되는 통합경영관리 모델을 운영하고 있다.

지난해 12월에는 통합경영관리의 핵심인 엔지니어링 역량 강화를 위해 전사 조직개편을 단행하고, 엔지니어링 체계 구축을 위해 기존 정비조직을 원인분석, 구매, 감독 등의 업무 프로세스 단위로 부서를 재편했다.

이에 따라 신월성2호기 계획예방정비에 분야별 전문가가 참여하여 설비 관리의 안정성을 한층 높였다. 한수원은 엔지니어링 체계가 완벽히 정착되면 원전의 안전성은 물론, 이용률 향상 효과도 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
