이날 행사는 원흥대 본부장과 조재관 본부노조위원장을 포함한 월성본부 주요 경영진과 노동조합 임원 등 50여명이 참가한 가운데 코로나19 방역 수칙을 준수하며 진행됐다. 참가자들은 왕벚나무 50주를 식재하고, 비료 주기, 지주목 설치 등 나무가꾸기 활동을 펼쳤다.

원흥대 본부장은 “한마음동산은 연간 2만 4천여명이 방문하는 지역의 대표적인 친환경 녹지공간이다.”며, “오늘 행사가 한마음 동산의 풍요로운 숲 조성에 도움이 되어, 앞으로 더 많은 분들이 찾아주시길 바란다.”고 말했다.
