【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 월성원자력본부(본부장 정원호)는 8월 25일부터 29일까지 산업통상자원부 국가기술표준원과 제주특별자치도가 공동 주최하고 한국표준협회가 주관한 ‘제51회 국가품질혁신경진대회’에서 금상을 수상했다.

이번 대회에는 전국 17개 시·도 지역 예선을 거쳐 선발된 316개 품질분임조가 참가했으며, 월성본부 제3발전소(소장 김호상)의 ‘I-NOVA’ 분임조가 ‘계측제어설비 공정기술 학습을 통한 정비시간 단축’을 주제로 출전해 학습조직 부문 금상을 차지했다. 이를 통해 원전 운영의 품질과 안전 우수성을 공식적으로 인정받았다.

‘I-NOVA’ 분임조는 실무 중심의 학습 인프라를 구축하고 △도면 해석지원 프로그램 개발 △계측기 스마트 진단 프로그램 개발 △계측기 교정 실습장비 개발 등 3대 핵심 학습 활동을 추진하여 조직 역량 강화와 성과 창출에 기여했다.

정원호 본부장은 “이번 수상은 품질혁신을 통해 엔지니어 역량과 원전 운영 능력 향상에 매진한 결과”라며, “앞으로도 지속적인 품질혁신과 안전운영으로 더욱 신뢰받는 월성본부가 되겠다”고 말했다.

316 quality teams, selected through preliminary rounds in 17 cities and provinces across the country, participated in this competition. The "I-NOVA" team from Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant No. 3 (Director Ho-sang Kim) won the Gold Award in the Learning Organization category for their theme, "Reducing Maintenance Time through Learning Instrumentation and Control Equipment Process Technology." This achievement officially recognized the company's excellence in quality and safety in nuclear power plant operations.

The "I-NOVA" team established a practice-oriented learning infrastructure and promoted three core learning activities: the development of a drawing interpretation support program, a smart diagnostic program for measuring instruments, and the development of measuring instrument calibration training equipment. This contributed to strengthening organizational capabilities and generating results.
