【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환) 재난안전공유협업센터는 지난 10월 26일 사랑관 301호에서 경 상북도 내 초·중·고등학교 재학생 가족을 대상으로 심폐소생술 및 응급처치 교육을 실시했다고 30일 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 선린대학교 재난안전공유협업센터 김병용 센터장(응급구조과 교수)의 강의 진행으로 응급처치 및 심폐소생술의 중요성 등 이론 교육, 이물질에 의한 기도폐쇄 시 응급처 치 요령, 마네킹을 이용한 심폐소생술 및 자동심장충격기(AED) 사용 실습 순으로 진행됐다.

특히 이번 실습 교육은 실시간 동시 피드백 및 측정을 통하여 교육 참여자들의 학습능 력을 향상시킬 수가 있었다.

이날 교육을 진행한 김병용 센터장은 “최근 재난 안전 분야 중요성은 국가의 중요 관심사항 이며, 우리 대학의 재난안전공유협업센터는 지역사회 안전교육 및 안전 문화 확산을 통해 사 회안전망(social safety net) 구축에 크게 기여할 것이며, 재난 분야 응급의료 교육기관으로서 사회적 책무를 다 하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 선린대학교 재난안전공유협업센터(센터장 김병용)는 국제응급구조사협회(NAEMT)의 병원 전 외상소생술(PHTLS),  미국의사협회(AMA) 국가재난응급의료전가 교육과정(NDLS) 중 국가재난응급의료전문가 기초과정(BDLS) 교육기관 지정을 비롯하여, 미국심장협회와 대한심폐 소생협회의 교육지침과 가이드라인에 맞춰 시행되는 교육 프로그램인 한국형 심폐소생술 (KBLS), 기본심폐소생술(BLS provider), 전문심장소생술(ACLS provider), 한국전문소 생술(KALS provider) 교육기관으로 지정되었으며 경상북도교육청 특수분야 심폐소생술등 응급처치교육 연수기관으로 지정받았다.

Seonlin University Disaster Safety Sharing Collaboration Center, “CPR for Three Generations” Training Held

Seonlin University (President Kwak Jin-hwan) Disaster Safety Sharing Collaboration Center announced on the 30th that it conducted CPR and first aid training for families of elementary, middle, and high school students in Gyeongsangbuk-do on October 26th in Sarang Hall 301.

This training was conducted in the following order: theory training on the importance of first aid and CPR, first aid techniques for airway obstruction due to foreign bodies, CPR using a mannequin, and practice using an automated external defibrillator (AED) with a lecture by Director Kim Byeong-yong of the Seonlin University Disaster Safety Sharing Collaboration Center (Professor of Emergency Rescue).

In particular, this practical training was able to improve the learning ability of the participants through real-time simultaneous feedback and measurement.

Center Director Kim Byeong-yong, who conducted the training that day, said, “Recently, the importance of disaster safety is a major national concern, and our university’s Disaster Safety Sharing and Collaboration Center will greatly contribute to establishing a social safety net through safety education and safety culture diffusion in the local community, and will fulfill its social responsibility as an emergency medical training institution in the disaster field.”

Meanwhile, Sunlin University's Disaster Safety Sharing and Collaboration Center (Director Kim Byeong-yong) has been designated as an educational institution for Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), the Basic Disaster Medical Specialist Course (BDLS) among the American Medical Association's (AMA) National Disaster Medical Transfer Curriculum (NDLS), and has also been designated as an educational institution for Korean CPR (KBLS), Basic CPR (BLS provider), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS provider), and Korean Advanced Life Support (KALS provider), which are educational programs implemented in accordance with the educational guidelines of the American Heart Association and the Korean Society of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. It has also been designated as an emergency treatment training institution for special fields such as CPR by the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education.
