【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(곽진환 총장)는 지난 23일 말레이시아 교육부 유학사업지원단(EMGS) Ms. Esther Low(Director of EMGS) 및Director of Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak CampusMr. James Ho 외4명이 대학을 방문하여 국제화 협력 관계 구축을 위한 업무협의를 진행했다고 25일 밝혔다.

이 날 협의에서 양 기관은 직업기술 연수 및 취업 분야에 관한 의견을 교환하고, 학생 교류, Kmove 사업 논의 등 상호 교류 협력 기반을 구축했다.
곽진환 총장은 “이번 방문을 계기로 학생들에게 국제적 감각을 가질 기회가 확대되기를 기대한다. 다양하고 체계적인 국제화 교육을 통해 글로벌 역량을 지닌 인재를 키우는 데 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
한편 선린대학교 국제교류교육센터는 해외 교육기관과의 교류뿐만 아니라, 교직원 및 학생 글로벌 역량강화지원 프로그램, 전문 실무능력 향상을 위한 어학 강좌 운영, 해외대학과의 공동 교육과정 개발 등 다양한 국가와의 교류와 협약을 체결하며 경쟁력 있는 국제화 인력 양성을 위하여 최선의 노력을 하고 있다.
