【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환) 국제교류교육센터는 지난 12일 한국어과정 재학중인 외국인유학생 70여 명을 대상으로 한국문화체험을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사는 포항 덕동마을을 방문하여 한복체험, 한지공예 체험, 다도 체험, 쌀강정 만들기, 비누 만들기 등 다양한 체험활동으로 진행되었으며, 문화체험을 통해 한국문화를 이해하고, 학습에 지친 일상을 여유와 쉼을 갖는 유익한 시간를 가졌다.

안혜정 국제교류교육센터장은 “선린대학교에서 수학 중인 각국의 유학생들에게 문화체험은 학습 현장을 다각화하여 실제 환경에서의 언어 습득을 꾀하는 한편, 자칫 건조할 수 있는 학습현장에 즐겁고 유쾌한 추억을 만드는 시간이 될 것.”이라며 ”앞으로도 계속해서 좋은 프로그램을 개발해 제공함으로써 학생들이 더욱 유익한 유학 생활을 만들어 가는 데 힘쓰겠다”라고 말했다.

한편 이번 문화체험에 참여했던 두엉 티 자미 학생(베트남)은 “이번 문화체험 행사를 통해 한국의 전통문화와 예절을 체험할 수 있었고, 친구들과 함께 먹거리를 만들어 시식해 보는 등 즐겁고 유익한 시간을 보내 뜻깊은 하루였다.”고 소감을 밝혔다.

선린대학교 국제교류교육센터는 외국인 유학생들에게 어학교육뿐 아니라 다양한 문화체험 및 문화탐방 프로그램을 운영하여 공동체 의식을 높이고 자신감과 성취감을 고취시켜 학습능률 향상에 최선을 다하고 있다.
