14일 선린대에 따르면 호신술 3종목에서 1위(박재환, 경찰보안무도과 1학년), -65kg에서 2위(이선미, 경찰보안무도과 1학년), -75kg에서 3위(윤인혁, 경찰보안무도과 1학년)로 입상했다.

경찰보안무도과 학과장 김미호 교수는 “경찰공무원시험 가산점 획득 자격이면서 동시에 보안회사 보안요원, 체육관 사범 및 관장으로 취업하기 위해 필요한 합기도 단증 취득을 위해 학과 교육과정에 경찰무도과목(합기도, 유도, 경찰체포·호신술)을 편성하고, 대학혁신사업의 일환으로 학과에서 무도단증 자격과정을 무료 개설하여 적극 운영한 결과이자 동시에 고도의 실무경험을 갖춘 교수진의 구성 및 재학생들의 노력이 함께 결합되어 만들어낸 결과”라고 말했다.
