【브레이크뉴스 봉화】이성현 기자=봉화군은 지난 2월 25일 평생학습관에서 2025년 지역특화 평생교육 프로그램 ‘베트남 in 봉화’의 일환으로 ‘신짜오 베트남!’ 과정을 개강했다.

이번 과정은 K-베트남 밸리 조성사업과 외국인 계절근로자 프로그램 등 봉화군의 핵심 사업들과 평생교육을 연계하여, 지역 특성이 반영된 교육 프로그램으로 기획됐다. 특히, 봉화군의 지리, 문화, 산업 등을 소재로 한 이 프로그램은 주민들이 베트남어와 요리를 함께 배우며 베트남 문화를 간접적으로 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.

봉화군의 외국인 계절근로자 중 약 70%가 베트남 출신인 만큼, 이번 교육은 베트남 근로자들과의 원활한 소통과 상호 이해를 증진시켜 지역 활성화에도 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대된다.

특히 이번 과정은 주민들이 가까운 생활권에서 참여할 수 있도록 봉화읍(봉화군 평생학습관), 춘양면(행복나눔파인토피아봉화관), 재산면(재산면사무소) 등 3개 권역에서 진행되며, 5월까지 계속된다.

김경숙 봉화군 교육가족과장은 “지역 주민들이 베트남어와 요리를 배우고 문화를 체험하면서 베트남 이민자 및 계절근로자들과 더 쉽게 소통할 수 있도록 하는 장을 마련하고자 했다”며, “앞으로도 지역 특성을 반영한 맞춤형 평생교육을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Bonghwa-gun, ‘Xin Chao Vietnam!’ course opens… Regional specialized lifelong education program operation

On February 25, Bonghwa-gun opened the ‘Xin Chao Vietnam!’ course at the Lifelong Learning Center as part of the 2025 regional specialized lifelong education program ‘Vietnam in Bonghwa.’

This course was planned as an educational program that reflects regional characteristics by linking lifelong education with Bonghwa-gun’s core projects such as the K-Vietnam Valley development project and the foreign seasonal worker program. In particular, this program, which focuses on Bonghwa-gun’s geography, culture, and industry, provides an opportunity for residents to indirectly experience Vietnamese culture by learning Vietnamese language and cooking together.

Since approximately 70% of Bonghwa-gun’s foreign seasonal workers are from Vietnam, this education is expected to have a positive effect on regional revitalization by promoting smooth communication and mutual understanding with Vietnamese workers.

In particular, this course will be held in three regions, Bonghwa-eup (Bonghwa-gun Lifelong Learning Center), Chunyang-myeon (Happy Sharing Finetopia Bonghwa Center), and Jaesan-myeon (Jaesan-myeon Office), so that residents can participate in their nearby living areas, and will continue until May.

Kim Gyeong-suk, head of the Bonghwa-gun Education and Family Division, said, “We wanted to create a place where local residents can learn Vietnamese language and cuisine, experience the culture, and communicate more easily with Vietnamese immigrants and seasonal workers,” and added, “We will continue to promote customized lifelong education that reflects the characteristics of the region in the future.”
