26일 군에 따르면 경상북도 공모사업 선정되어 추진한 이번 행사는 도내에서 모인 청춘남녀 40명이 참여해 아름다운 봉화군의 자연과 관광지를 배경으로 특별한 추억을 만들고, 새로운 인연을 찾아가는 시간이 됐다.

행사 참가자들이 봉화군의 대표 관광지인 분천산타마을, 국립백두대간수목원 등에서 다양한 프로그램을 체험하고 봉화의 아름다운 자연 속에서 뜻깊은 시간을 보내며 서로를 알아가고 친밀감을 쌓는 기회를 가질 수 있도록 했다.

청춘남녀 간의 만남 지원 행사와 함께 봉화군만이 가지고 있는 매력적인 요소를 홍보하는 특별한 계기가 됐으며, 행사 종료 후 총 8쌍의 커플이 탄생하는 성과를 거두며 참가자들로부터 큰 호응을 얻었다.

박현국 봉화군수는 “1차 행사에 이어 이번 행사에도 많은 청년들이 인연을 맺어 기쁘다.”며 “봉화는 사람과 자연이 함께 어우러지는 특별한 곳이며 앞으로도 청춘들이 꿈을 꾸고 실현할 수 있는 봉화를 만들어 가겠다.”라고 밝혔다.

한편 봉화군은 청춘남녀 만남지원 행사를 넘어 모두가 더 자주, 더 오래 머물고 싶어하는 봉화를 목표로 다양한 지역 맞춤형 정책을 추진할 방침이다.
