신청 대상은 봉화군에 주소를 두고 농업경영정보를 등록한 농업경영체 및 농업법인으로, 주소지 읍·면사무소에서 마을별 일정에 따라 보조사업을 신청할 수 있다.
그동안 농업 보조사업 신청 시기가 사업별로 분산돼 운영되면서 농업인들이 신청 절차에 혼선을 겪고, 반복적인 행정 처리로 인한 비효율 문제가 지속적으로 제기돼 왔다.
이에 봉화군은 올해부터 집중 신청기간을 운영해 보조사업 신청 절차를 일원화하고, 행정 효율성을 높이는 한편 농업인의 불편을 최소화할 계획이다. 군은 이를 통해 사업 추진 과정 전반을 체계화하고, 주민 만족도를 높일 수 있는 지원 방안을 마련한다는 방침이다.
이번 조치는 농가의 행정 부담을 덜고 효율적인 보조금 집행 기반을 구축한다는 점에서 농업 보조사업 제도 개선의 의미가 크다는 평가다.
박현국 봉화군수는 “농업 경쟁력 강화와 지역경제 활성화에 실질적으로 기여할 수 있는 사업 추진에 역량을 집중하겠다”며 “공정하고 투명한 보조금 지급 기준을 마련해 변화하는 농촌 환경에 적극 대응해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
