이번 재·보궐선거는 지난 9월 1일부터 올해 2월 28일까지 당선무효, 사망 등으로 선거 실시사유가 확정된 지역이 대상이다.  후보자등록기간은 3월 13일(목)부터 2일간이며, 선거운동은 3월 20일(목)부터 가능하다. 

사전투표는 3월 28일(금) ~ 29일(토) 오전 6시부터 오후 6시까지 이틀간 실시한다. 사전투표소는 재·보궐선거 실시 지역의 읍·면·동마다 1개소씩 설치되며, 선거인은 주소지와 상관없이 재·보궐선거 실시 지역의 사전투표소 어디서나 투표할 수 있다.

다만, 선거일에는 반드시 지정된 본인의 투표소에서 투표해야 하며 투표시간은 오전 6시부터 오후 8시까지이다.

2025 April 2nd By-election Gyeongbuk 3 Elections Confirmed

The Gyeongsangbuk-do Election Commission announced that the by-elections to be held on April 2nd this year, 3 elections in Gyeongbuk [Gimcheon Mayoral By-election, Gyeongsangbuk-do Council Member (Seongju-gun) By-election, Goryeong-gun Council Member (Goryeong-gun Na) By-election] have been confirmed.

This by-election is for regions where election reasons such as invalidation of election or death have been confirmed between September 1st and February 28th of this year.

The candidate registration period is for 2 days starting from March 13th (Thursday), and election campaigning is possible starting from March 20th (Thursday).

Early voting will be held for 2 days from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on March 28th (Friday) and 29th (Saturday). An early voting station will be established in each town, township, and dong of the by-election area, and voters can vote at any early voting station in the by-election area regardless of their address.

However, on election day, voters must vote at their designated polling station, and voting hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
