28일 경북선관위에 따르면 선거일에는 코로나19 확진 등으로 격리되는 선거인의 투표권 행사를 보장하고자 코로나19 격리자 특별투표소(도내 24곳, 각 구·시·군별 1곳)를 운영한다.

이번 조합장선거의 도내 선거인수는 선거인명부 열람, 이의신청 등 구제 절차를 거쳐 지난 26일, 29만 5천여 명으로 확정됐다.

조합별로는 농협의 선거인수가 24만9천여 명으로 가장 많았고, 산림조합 4만여 명,수협 5천여 명 순이었으며 남성 208,547명(70.64%), 여성 86,493명(29.3%), 법인 176곳(0.06%)으로 확인됐다.

선거공보와 함께 발송되는 투표안내문에는 선거인의 성명, 선거인명부 등재번호 및 투표일시, 선거인이 투표할 수 있는 구·시·군 내 모든 투표소 현황이 게재되어 있다.

투표소는 조합장선거를 실시하는 읍·면마다 1개씩 설치하되, 동지역의 경우 관할 선관위가 조합과 협의하여 일부 동에만 설치할 수 있다. 선거인은 우편으로 배달된 투표안내문에서 투표소 목록을 확인하여 선거일인 3월 8일 오전 7시부터 오후 5시까지가까운 투표소에서 투표하면 된다.

코로나19 확진 등으로 격리 중인 선거인(이하 ‘격리자 선거인’)은 투표 목적에 한해3월 8일 오전 11시 50분부터 일시 외출하여 격리자 특별투표소등에서 투표할 수 있다. 투표종료 후에는즉시 귀가해야 한다.
