【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용)가 창립 24주년을 맞아 지역사회에 따뜻한 나눔을 실천했다. 4월 3일, 한울본부는 경북사회복지공동모금회에 10억 1백만 원의 기부금을 전달했다.

한울본부는 매년 경북사회복지공동모금회를 통해 지역사회를 위한 기부를 이어오고 있으며, 이번 기부금은 직원들이 자발적으로 모은 사내 기부금(러브펀드)과 한수원지원사업비를 통해 조성되었다. 기부금은 2025년 한 해 동안 울진지역 내 사회복지시설 지원, 에너지 취약계층의 냉·난방비 지원, 지역 주민의 주거환경 개선 등 다양한 복지 프로그램에 사용될 예정이다.

기부금 전달식에 참석한 경북사회복지공동모금회 손병일 사무처장은 “한울본부는 단발성이 아닌 지속적인 나눔을 실천해온 기업으로, 큰 규모의 기부금을 모은 것에 감사하며 감동을 받았다”라고 전하며 감사의 뜻을 표했다.

이에 대해 이세용 한울본부장은 “지역사회에 도움이 되고자 직원들과 함께 나누는 활동을 이어가고 있으며, 그 마음이 잘 전달되어 기쁘다. 지속적인 나눔 실천이 따뜻한 세상을 만드는 데 도움이 될 것이라 믿고, 앞으로도 꾸준히 나눔을 실천하겠다”고 말했다.

한울원자력본부는 이번 기부를 통해 지역사회와의 상생을 지속적으로 실천할 예정이다.

The donation will be used for various welfare programs such as supporting social welfare facilities in the Uljin area, supporting heating and cooling costs for energy-vulnerable groups, and improving the living environment of local residents throughout 2025.

Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea Secretary-General Son Byeong-il, who attended the donation ceremony, expressed his gratitude, saying, “Hanul Headquarters is a company that has practiced continuous sharing, not one-time sharing, and I am grateful and touched by the large-scale donation.”
