이번 기부금은 ‘희망 2026 나눔캠페인’의 일환으로 마련됐으며, 전액 한울본부 직원들이 자발적으로 모금한 ‘민들레홀씨기금’에서 조성됐다.

성금은 지역 내 취약계층을 대상으로 ▲긴급 생계·주거·의료 지원 ▲복지 사각지대 발굴 ▲취약계층 맞춤 돌봄 등 복지 사업에 사용될 예정이다.

이세용 본부장은 “이번 성금이 지역사회에 따뜻한 연대의 의미로 전달되길 바란다”며 “울진군민 누구나 차별 없이 복지의 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 앞으로도 지속적인 나눔을 실천하겠다”고 말했다.

한울본부는 매년 지역 복지사업에 꾸준히 참여하며 울진군 취약계층 지원과 지역사회 공헌 활동을 이어오고 있다.

Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Joins Uljin's 'Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign', Donating 80 Million KRW

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director Lee Se-yong) donated 80 million KRW to the Uljin County Office on the 2nd at the 'Uljin County Fundraising Day' event.

This donation was raised as part of the 'Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign' and was entirely funded by the 'Dandelion Seed Fund' voluntarily raised by Hanul Headquarters employees.

The donation will be used for welfare projects targeting vulnerable groups in the region, including: ▲emergency livelihood, housing, and medical support; ▲identifying blind spots in welfare services; and ▲customized care for vulnerable groups.

Director Lee Se-yong stated, "I hope this donation will be a warm gesture of solidarity with the local community. We will continue to practice sharing so that all Uljin County residents can benefit from welfare without discrimination."

Hanul Headquarters has been consistently participating in local welfare projects every year, supporting vulnerable groups in Uljin County and contributing to the local community.
