이번 포럼은 포항상공회의소와 공동 주관했으며, 포항지역 주요 기관장과 상공회의소 회원사 대표, 지역 기업 CEO 등 약 180여 명이 참석했다.

행사에는 블루닷AI연구센터 강정수 센터장이 연사로 나서 ‘AI 에이전트 시대, 경제의 주인이 바뀐다’를 주제로 강연을 진행했다. 

강 센터장은 “생성형 AI와 AI 에이전트 기술의 급속한 발전은 산업 구조와 기업 경영, 노동시장까지 전반적인 변화를 이끌 것”이라며 “AI 기반 산업 생태계 구축이 기업의 미래 경쟁력 확보에 핵심 역할을 할 것”이라고 강조했다. 

그는 이어 AI 에이전트의 개념과 특징, 산업별 활용 전망, 향후 경제 패러다임 변화에 대해 사례 중심으로 설명했다.

황병우 은행장은 환영사에서 “AI기술 도입은 지역 기업의 체질 혁신과 지속가능한 성장의 필수 요소”라며 “이번 포럼을 통해 지역 기업들이 변화의 흐름을 이해하고 새로운 전략을 모색하는 계기가 되었기를 바란다”고 말했다. 

이어 “iM뱅크는 앞으로도 포항 CEO포럼을 비롯한 다양한 협력 활동을 통해 지역과 동반 성장하는 금융기관의 역할을 충실히 수행하겠다”고 덧붙였다.

iM Bank Hosts the 26th Pohang CEO Forum at POSCO International Center

iM Bank (CEO Hwang Byung-woo) held the 26th Pohang CEO Forum at the POSCO International Center Grand Ballroom on the 2nd.

The forum, co-hosted with the Pohang Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was attended by approximately 180 people, including heads of major Pohang organizations, representatives of Chamber member companies, and CEOs of local businesses.

At the event, Kang Jeong-soo, Director of the Blue Dot AI Research Center, delivered a lecture titled "The Era of AI Agents: Changing the Owners of the Economy."

Director Kang emphasized, "The rapid development of generative AI and AI agent technology will lead to comprehensive changes in industrial structure, corporate management, and the labor market." He added, "Building an AI-based industrial ecosystem will play a key role in securing corporate competitiveness in the future."

He then provided a case-based explanation of the concept and characteristics of AI agents, their potential applications across industries, and the future economic paradigm shift.

In his welcoming remarks, iM Bank CEO Hwang Byung-woo stated, "The adoption of AI technology is essential for the structural transformation and sustainable growth of local businesses. I hope this forum will serve as an opportunity for local businesses to understand the changing trends and explore new strategies."

He added, "iM Bank will continue to faithfully fulfill its role as a financial institution that grows alongside the region through various collaborative activities, including the Pohang CEO Forum."
