【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경상북도개발공사(사장 이재혁)는 어린이안전공제회와 함께 사회공헌공모전 선정사업의 일환으로 ‘찾아가는 안전뮤지컬’ 행사를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 어린이 눈높이에 맞춘 공연형 안전교육을 통해 생활 속 안전수칙을 자연스럽게 익히고, 위기 상황에 대한 대응 역량을 높이기 위해 마련됐다. 행사는 도청신도시 내 아동을 대상으로 진행됐으며, 체험형 공연 콘텐츠를 통해 어린이들이 일상에서 반드시 알아야 할 안전수칙을 쉽고 재미있게 이해할 수 있도록 구성됐다.
뮤지컬은 교통안전을 주요 주제로 ▲횡단보도 이용과 신호 준수 등 보행 안전 ▲주차장과 아파트 단지 내 사각지대 주의 ▲차량 탑승 및 승·하차 시 안전벨트 착용 등 생활 밀착형 안전수칙을 중심으로 펼쳐졌다. 특히 공연 중 퀴즈와 참여형 활동을 병행해 어린이들의 몰입도를 높이고 교육 효과를 강화했다.
이와 함께 공사는 오는 1월 21일 도청신도시 내 경상북도경찰청 어린이집을 방문해 실내 생활안전을 주제로 한 어린이 손인형극을 추가로 진행할 예정이다. 이를 통해 가정과 어린이집 등 생활공간에서 발생할 수 있는 안전사고 예방수칙을 어린이 눈높이에 맞춰 전달한다는 계획이다.
이재혁 경상북도개발공사 사장은 “어린이 안전은 무엇보다 우선돼야 할 사회적 가치”라며 “아이들이 즐겁게 참여하면서도 꼭 필요한 안전수칙을 배울 수 있도록 이번 프로그램을 마련했다”고 말했다. 이어 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께 미래세대를 위한 안전·돌봄 중심의 사회공헌 활동을 지속적으로 추진해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 경상북도개발공사는 이번 행사를 계기로 어린이 안전교육 지원을 지속적으로 확대하고, 지역사회 전반에 안전문화를 확산하기 위한 협력체계를 강화해 나갈 방침이다.

The musical focused on traffic safety, focusing on practical safety tips such as: using crosswalks and obeying traffic signals; being mindful of blind spots in parking lots and apartment complexes; and wearing seatbelts when boarding and exiting vehicles. The program incorporated quizzes and interactive activities throughout the performance to enhance children's engagement and enhance the educational impact.
Additionally, the corporation plans to visit the Gyeongsangbuk-do Police Agency Daycare Center in the Provincial Government New Town on January 21st to hold an additional children's puppet show on indoor safety. This program aims to provide children with safety precautions that can occur in their homes, daycare centers, and other living spaces, tailored to their needs.
Lee Jae-hyuk, President of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Development Corporation, stated, "Children's safety is a social value that must be prioritized above all else.
