【브레이크뉴스 포항】오주호 기자=어린이재단 포항후원회(회장 장기현)는 지난 18일 맨발학교 포항지회, 초록우산어린이재단 경북지역본부(본부장 문희영)와 함께 송도솔밭도시숲에서 ‘나눔 걷기 챌린지’ 후원금 전달식을 가졌다.

‘나눔 걷기 챌린지’는 어린이재단 포항후원회와 맨발학교 포항지회에서 스스로의 건강도 되찾고 취약계층 아동도 돕자는 의미에서 기획한 캠페인이다.

이날 회원들이 워크온 앱을 통해 3개월간 1억 5천 걸음을 달성하면 200만원을 후원하는 것으로 목표를 정하고, 최종 18억 걸음이라는 대기록을 달성함으로서 전달식을 가졌다.

어린이재단 포항후원회 장기현 회장은 “포항시 맨발걷기 열풍으로 함께 하는 분들이 늘어남에 따라 기왕 걷는 것, 걸으면서 따뜻한 나눔도 하자는 의미에서 아이디어가 시작되었다”며 “기부하는 사람도 유익하고 행복할 수 있는 다양한 시도로 지역 내 나눔문화가 확산될 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
