【브레이크뉴스 경북】오주호 기자=초록우산 어린이재단 경북지역본부(본부장 문희영)은 지난 19일 영덕교육지원청에서 경북영덕군 저소득 아동 224명에게 생필품을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이번 물품지원은 경북공공형어린이집연합회의 후원으로 최근 2차례의 태풍으로 인해 피해를 입은 아동을 대상으로 영덕교육지원청의 적극적인 협조를 통해 대상자를 선정했다.

또한 초록우산 어린이재단 영덕후원회가 후원한 물품을 아동가정에 전달하기로 해 영덕군 아동복지 발전을 위해 민•관이 협력한 좋은 사례로 평가받고 있다.

경북공공형어린이집연합회 김태순 회장은 “ 십시일반 경북 공공형어린이집 후원금으로 코로나 19와 태풍으로 인해 어려움을 겪는 영덕지역 아이들에게 조금이나마 도움이 됐으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.

영덕교육지원청 최필순 교육장은 “영덕 관내 도움이 필요한 모든 학생들을 지원할 수 있도록 힘써주신 경북공공형어린이집연합회를 비롯한 초록우산 어린이재단 관계자 분들에게 진심으로 감사드린다”고 전했다.

한편 초록우산 어린이재단 경북지역본부는 23개 시군구 내 도움이 필요한 아이들을 돕기 위한 전문화되고 체계적인 복지서비스를 제공하고, 지역 내 나눔문화를 형성하기 위해 개인, 단체, 기업과 다양한 사회공헌활동을 펼치고 있다.
