안동경찰서(서장 장근호)는 지난 24일 한국생명과학고등학교에서 청소년으로 구성된 제1회 청소년 참여 정책자문단 위촉식 및 회의를 개최했다고 25일 밝혔다.

청소년 참여 정책자문단은 정책수요자인 청소년이 경찰의 청소년 보호·지원 정책에 직접 참여하여 청소년의 다양한 의견을 반영하는 제도이다.

이날 회의에서는 한국생명과학고등학교 소속 청소년 정책자문단 15명 학생을대상으로 위촉장을 수여하고, 학교폭력에 대한 기본교육 및 자문단 운영 취지와 역할을 설명하였다.

또한 효과적인 학교폭력 예방 캠페인 홍보 방법, 소통 강화를 위한 상담 활성화 등 다양한 의견이 제시됐다.

임창대 여성청소년과장은 “앞으로도 사명감을 가지고, 끊임없는 소통으로 다양한 의견들이 많이 나오기를 기대한다. 정책자문단을 통한정책 제언들이 경찰 정책에 반영될 수 있도록 적극적으로 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
