13일 영주시에 따르면 2012년 이건 계획을 확정한 이산서원은 총 사업비 24억원을 투입해 기존에 있던 경지당과 지도문을 이건하고 발굴용역 결과와 사료를 근거로 존재했던 것으로 확인된 사묘, 숙소인 성정재와 진수재, 학당인 양정당과 누대인 관물대 등을 모두 복원했다고 13일 밝혔다.

이날 열린 준공식은 이산서원이건복설추진위원회(회장 김백) 주관으로 13일 이산면 석포리에서 △1부-이산서원 복설 준공식 △2부-이산서원에 배향된 선현들에 대한 제향을 봉행하는 순으로 진행됐다.

원래 이산서원은 퇴계 이황선생만 배향했으나 이번에 복설하면서 유림들의 공의를 모아 이산서원의 설립과 유지에 공이 큰 소고 박승임과 백암 김륵 선생을 추배해 함께 제향을 봉행했다.

이날 봉안고유제 초헌관에는 장욱현 영주시장, 아헌관에는 의성유림 김창회 선생, 종헌관에는 봉화유림 이종태 선생이 각각 맡아 제향을 올렸다. 또한 인근 경북 북부 지역 유림들도 참석해 봉안고유제를 함께 지냈다.
