【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=임종득 영주‧영양‧봉화‧울진 국민의힘 예비후보가 지역의 청년들과 만나 ‘정책간담회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

지난 6일 열린 간담회는 임 예비후보가 지역 주민들과 소통을 통해 현안을 파악하고 정책 및 공약을 발굴하기 위해 마련되었다.

이날 간담회에 참석한 10여명의 청년들은 ▶인구소멸 문제 ▶일자리 문제 ▶농촌 문제 ▶관광 권역 활성화 문제에 대해 다양한 의견을 개진했다. 

임 예비후보는 ▶첨단베어링 국가산단 부지 내  방산기업 유치 ▶농자재 비율 해결을 위한 입법 활동 ▶문화유산 및 유적지 스토리텔링을 통한 관광객 유치 ▶지역 특화 관광 콘텐츠 개발 ▲귀농·귀촌 활성화를 위한 법적·제도적 장치 마련 ▶영주댐 수생태 국가정원 조기 조성을 위한 TF구성 등의 방안을 제시했다.

그러면서 “지역 청년들과 생각을 함께 공유할 수 있는 자리를 마련하게 되어 영광으로 생각한다”며 “젊은 청년들이 대도시로 나가게 되는 문제를 해결하기 위해 지역 일자리 창출이 무엇보다 중요한 과제인 것 같다”고 말했다.

임종득 예비후보는 “앞으로도 우리 지역민들의 고충을 직접 듣고 해결 방안을 모색할 수 있도록 간담회를 지속적으로 개최해 소통할 것”이라고 말했다.
