경북 울진군에서 3차 추가 접종(부스터샷)을 완료한 80대 남성이 사망했다.

22일 방역당국 등에 따르면 울진에 사는 80대 남성 A씨는 지난 13일 화이자 3차 추가 접종을 받고 사흘 만인 16일 자신의 집에서 숨진 채 발견됐다.

혼자 살던 A씨가 연락이 되지 않자 인근에 거주하는 친척이 16일 방문해 숨진 사실을 확인하고 방역당국에 신고했다.

A씨는 지난 5월 4일, 25일 화이자 백신 1·2차 접종을 받았으며 현재까지 기저질환 여부는 파악이 되지 않고 있다. 방역당국은 백신과의 연관성 파악을 위한 역학조사를 진행하고 있다.
