대구시는 8일째 계속되는 가창면 주암산 산불의 어려움에도 불구하고 산불 ‘재난사태’로 선포된 경북 울진지역 긴급지원에 나섰다.

권영진 대구시장은 지난 5일 대형산불 현장통합지휘본부가 설치된 울진을 직접 찾아 행정안전부장관 주재로 진행된 현장점검회의에 참석하고 소방헬기 지원 등을 정부에 적극 건의했다. 

또 대구시는 진화에 필요한 소방차 12대, 소방인력 31명을 급파하고 소방·경찰 등 현장대응 인력이 불편이 없도록 대구시 수돗물 청라수 2만병, 컵라면 5천개, 과일 150박스 등을 당일 우선 지원하면서 복구상황에 따라 추가 지원에 나설 방침이다.

권영진 대구시장은 “대구 가창산불로 어려움을 겪고 있지만 더 큰 화재로 고통받고 있는 울진지역을 위해서 필요한 지원을 아낌없이 쏟겠다”고 밝혔다.
