봉화군 봉성면에 위치한 두동마을에 봄 햇살을 닮은 샛노란 산수유 꽃이 눈길을 사로 잡고 있다.
29일 봉화군에 따르면 이곳은 봉화에서 대표적으로 산수유를 볼 수 있는 곳으로 ‘띠띠미 마을’로 불린다. 마을 뒤에서 물이 흐른다고 해서 뒷마을(後谷), 뒷뜨미라 불리던 것이 오랜 세월이 흐르면서 요즘은 부르기 쉽게 ‘띠띠미’로 정착됐다고 한다.
띠띠미 마을의 산수유는 크고 화려하지는 않지만 사람 사는 마을과 조화를 이루며 고풍스러운 집들과 산수유가 어우러져 한 폭의 그림 같은 풍경을 연출한다.
