【브레이크뉴스 청송】이성현 기자=청송군(군수 윤경희)은 여름철 강풍 및 집중호우, 태풍 등 자연재난에 대비하기 위해 생활권 주변 재해 위험목 정비에 나선다고 1일 밝혔다.

정비대상은 주택, 도로변 등 생활권 주변에 인접해 있으며 태풍 등 자연재난으로 피해가 우려되거나 피해가 발생해 긴급처리가 필요한 수목들이다.

군은 현재까지 접수된 위험입목 정비대상지 35개소 175본을 8월 말까지 정비하여 태풍 등 자연재난에 대비하고, 향후에도 지속적인 재해 위험목 정비로 인명과 재산 피해를 최소화 할 방침이다.

한편 청송군은 올해 상반기 고소작업차(3.5t) 1대, 리프트 1대, 기계톱등의 전문 장비를 갖추고 산불전문 예방진화대와 숲가꾸기 패트롤 작업단을 운영하여 생활권 주변 165개소 871본의 재해 위험목을 정비하였으며, 자체 제거 불가한 재해 위험입목 92본에 대하여는 전문용역을투입해 처리하는 등 주민들로부터 큰 호응을 얻은 바 있다.

윤경희 청송군수는 “앞으로도 재해위험 수목을 미리 정비해 군민의 소중한 생명과 재산을 지키는 데 최선을 다 하겠다”고 말했다.
