【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=위덕대학교 봉사단은 안전-플로킹 캠페인 활성화를 위해 지난 9월 16일 경북도청 주관 청소년안전지킴이 발대식에 참여했다고 21일 밝혔다.
이날 청소년안전지킴이 발대식에 위덕대학교 아리랑동아리, 로타렉스 동아리를 비롯한 12명의 대표 봉사학생들을 포함한 6개 지역 각 대학교 총장, 대학생 및 청소년들이 참여하여 안전지킴이 위촉장 수여와 안전지킴이로써의 다짐을 선서했다.
안전지킴이 활동을 통해 재난안전의식 고취 및 지역사회 안전망을 고취하는데 주역이 될 것을 다시한번 더 다짐하는 시간이었고 특히 첨단기술 활용 재난예방에 대한 특강을 통해 최첨단기술을 활용한 안전망을 구축하여 안전한 사회를 만들기위한 아이디어도 나누는 귀한 시간이 됐다.
위덕대 관계자는 “앞으로도 위덕대학교는 위덕봉사센터가 주축이되어 보다 안전한 대학 보다 안전한 지역으로 거듭나기위해 노력할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
